Team Role Overview
There are 3 primary roles included in all teams which drives how access is provided according to our subscriptions:
Role | Description |
|---|---|
Administrator | The primary billing contact, they are able to update subscription information, edit team colors and invite coaches. In addition to administrative features, this role has the ability to add plays to the team playbook, edit the team schedule, make roster updates, and invite players. Upgrades to Personal Unlimited Playbook. |
Coach (Counts against coach limit) | Coaches share much of the same access as the administrator: they are able to add plays to the team playbook, edit the team schedule, make roster updates and invite players. They do not have the ability to update subscription information. Upgrades to Personal Unlimited Playbook. |
Player (Counts against roster limit) | Players are mostly limited to view-only access. They are able to see (but not edit) plays shared by coaches, RSVP to team events, and make posts on the team message board. |
There are 2 additional roles that allow certain users to act on behalf of other users:
Role | Description |
|---|---|
Secondary Administrator | A secondary administrator has the ability to trigger invitations to coaches and players, edit team settings and has access to act as a coach for all teams in the program. They do not have the ability to manage payment/billing information. Upgrades to Personal Unlimited Playbook. |
Alternate Contact (Player) | The alternate contact is an extension of the player role, usually used for parent/guardian of the player. They have the same access as the player, with the ability to RSVP on behalf of their player. This role does not count against your roster limit. |
